“What an idiot. If I die tomorrow, get hit bus a bus, and hadn’t made this record, then my whole life was just a waste.”
- Salim Nourallah
Whew. Editing Robert is difficult - as anyone who knows Robert can attest. BUT, we’ve made it, Show Two, posted in the last twenty minutes of today, Monday, July 18th.
In this installment, which is not near as long as the first episode, but then, not as short as it should be, I talk to Salim Nourallah, a should-be legend of the Dallas music scene. Robert is curiously missing, until he takes hostage the entire last twenty minutes of Part Two.
Salim and I discuss:
- Sunward
- The Moon Festival
- The Nourallah Brothers
- Faris Nourallah
- Happiness Factor
- Salim Nourallah
- The Old 97s
- The Damnwells
- Rahim Quazi
- Rhett Miller
And then, Robert goes on (and on) about:
- Lotion
- Pleasant Grove
- Chomsky
- The Sparrows
- The Happy Bullets
- Radiant*
- Thief
- Chris Holt (and The Egos)
Please listen. It’s worth the effort of a mouse click or two.

Tearing it down,
Lindsay
