This week’s episode features former Dallas Observer music editor Zac Crain. Famous for his sack of kittens and that song by the guy in The Nixons, he stops in for what turned out to be a long discussion of several bands and the state of music in Dallas. In this week, however, we listen to and discuss:
Hope you enjoy it.
A small note: it’s August. In Texas. It’s really hot. We had the air-conditioner on full-blast during this interview and you can definitely hear it. I tried all sorts of sophisticated digital audio tricks to reduce the noise, but I was not wholly successful. Please excuse the sound quality: it’s a bit uneven from voice to voice.
But you’re not here for pristine digital audio quality, right? You want rock and maybe even some roll – and you want Zac Crain to tell you the difference between the two.
Tearing it down,
Lindsay
